On March 30, 2021 James Angotta was tragically struck by a motor vehicle and killed near his home in Lindenhurst, NY. Jimmy was a husband, father of 2 and a proud retired NYPD officer. In his memory, and in the wake of his sudden and tragic passing, we are humbly asking for any donations to the Angotta family as they cope with this loss and face the challenges that can come with losing someone so unexpectedly.  Jimmy was a proud and loving husband and father, and it was the honor of his lifetime to serve as an NYPD officer and first responder on 9/11.
