Lacie is asking for support for the Angilau family, who are facing an unimaginable tragedy. While attending a funeral in Utah, their family experienced a devastating act of violence outside the church. Their son, Soni, was shot and killed during an altercation with a 17 year old boy. At the same time, his twin brother, Vita, was also seriously injured and is now in critical condition. The twins had just graduated from high school, making this loss and crisis even more heartbreaking. In the midst of deep grief over the loss of Soni, the family is also staying by Vita’s side and praying for his recovery.

This fundraiser is meant to help ease some of the heavy financial burdens the Angilau family is carrying right now. Donations will go toward medical bills, travel expenses, and funeral costs as they remain away from home caring for Vita and mourning the loss of Soni. The Angilau family has given so much to their community- the father Vilisoni Sr. is the former bishop of the Burien ward. Now they need that same love and support in return.
