Hi everyone, my name is Samantha. Late on Sunday May 17th, 2026, Kaity and Steph, and Jack's home caught fire. The fire originated at their neighbors home, and quickly spread over to theirs. Between fire damage, smoke damage, and water damage from the efforts to put out the fire, essentially all of their belongings are ruined.
Currently, 5 homes including theirs are condemned. While they do have renters insurance, the process to get reimbursed for their belongings is a long and tedious one that can take months. Right now, they are safe and staying with us, but are in need of clothes, shoes, and all other basic living items.
