Support for Thames Family

This account is being set-up on behalf of the Thames family. Funds raised will support expenses for hotel, food, travel and other expenses incurred during Pierson's treatment and recovery.

Pierson Thames and a friend were in a bad car accident Saturday evening(9/22/18). They were t-boned by a guy who ran a red light. The passenger side where P was sitting took the worst. We were blessed that a doctor was actually on the scene when it happened and began triage immediately. Pierson would not have made it if not for this man. We thank God for him. He went into surgery almost immediately as he was bleeding internally. He came out well and they spent the night working on getting his vitals settled.  To err on the side of caution, his doctor opted to fly to Duke.
The outpouring of love, calls, texts, money, people planning, organizing, and going out of their way to offer help has been overwhelming. We can never thank you enough. Please pray for our boy. He has a long way to go and will need to fight very hard for the next few weeks and months.
