On March 1st, my only baby brother, Tevin Bacchus, at a mere 35 years old suffered a massive heart attack. He was found unresponsive in the apartment he shares with our father. Thanks to the quick actions of first responders, Tevin was revived, but he is now on a ventilator and experiencing repeated seizures. Our family is facing an incredibly difficult time as we wait and hope for his recovery.

My dad has been by Tevin’s side every day, going back and forth from the hospital while trying to manage work and daily responsibilities. The emotional and financial strain has been overwhelming. With reduced work hours and mounting medical bills, it’s been hard for my dad to keep up with daily expenses like travel and food, let alone prepare for the uncertain road ahead.
