Teresa’s family, friends and colleagues knew her to be steadfast, reliable, kind, thoughtful and a good listener.

Tragically, Teresa allowed the complexities of life, including caring for a young child largely on her own, to overwhelm her and she turned her attention to things other than her own health as priorities.

Teresa spent nearly a month in the ICU undergoing batteries of tests, including for an organ transplant. She died intestate and without medical insurance. Her family and her young son, David, now face extraordinary expenses as they grieve. Any contribution to help offset this financial burden and to support David’s future educational needs will help Teresa’s family and young son immensely.
