This is the most deeply humbling thing I’ve ever posted. Since the beginning of December my apartment has been absolutely ridden with cockroaches, I have notified my complex multiple times and they still have not fixed this issue. It’s been over 45 days.

Certain days (especially cold ones) it’s been so bad I can’t cook or shower in my own home. I’ve attempted multiple times to keep them at bay by deep cleaning to no avail.

Needless to say, a lot of the money I usually budget for rent has gone towards reasonably priced hotels/hostels/taking care of friends that have kindly opened their homes to me.

The complex may not be on top of fixing the problem, but they are on top of trying to evict me for my failure to pay for a portion of December and January so far.
