Michael Spencer, a Fourth Grade student, recently became very ill and it was later determined that he had viral meninigitis. Michael required emergency brain surgery, and unfortunately a few days after brain surgery he suffered from a stroke. Michael has been in a fight for his life, spending 12 days in the intensive care unit, and currently remains under 24 hour care at the hospital. On Monday May 1st, Michael will be transported by ambulance to the Children's Hospital of Atlanta where he will begin receiving  full rehabilitation therapy. Michael's stay in Atlanta is expected to be a month long. We ask for prayers for Michael's healing and recovery.
