Quincy is a 10-year-old boy has been bravely battling leukemia for the past five years. His mother, is my sons TK teacher, and has shown incredible strength and dedication both in her classroom and at home. Recently, she made the difficult decision to take a medical leave from work so she can be by her son's side in the hospital, supporting him through every step of his treatment. This has placed a significant emotional and financial strain on their family, as they navigate the challenges of ongoing care and time away from work.

The costs of medical bills and frequent travel to and from the hospital are adding up quickly. As someone who has seen firsthand the kindness and commitment this teacher brings to her students, I want to do everything I can to support her and her family during this difficult time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease their burden and allow them to focus on what matters most: being together and supporting their son's fight against leukemia.

Quincy’s wishes are to stay at a beach house this summer so that his friends can stop by and enjoy the beach. We are grateful that a family has generously donated a week at their large beachfront house in North county. His mother told me this was one of the main things keeping him going in the hospital during the hard days.

His second wish is to go to the Pokémon world championships in SF in August. We are making this wish come true, as long as he is healthy!
