To My Sweet Community,
I can honestly say that never in a thousand years could I have suspected that I would get cancer! My life has been upended since my diagnosis of ovarian cancer on July 22nd, 2021. There is a small family history of this disease in my lineage, but certainly not a lot.
I've been healthy and physically strong my whole life; and have given thanks for that many, many times--especially in the past few years. My ability to remain independent has been a point of great satisfaction to me. Now, things have changed significantly.
I have had the love and support of my family and a few close friends over the past 3 months, but the time has come to inform the greater circle of my request for prayer and assistance. Please join me in holding a high vision of recovery and a return to work in the coming year. It's going to be a hell of a journey, and with you on my side, I'm so much stronger. The truth is that I'm scared and nervous, and yet also always looking for the upside in any situation....which is just part of my nature.
My dear friends Nikki and Marygrace have kindly taken on the task of starting this GoFundMe to provide living expenses. My "job" right now is crystal clear--to direct the healing energy that I so love to share with my world, to my own sweet Self, that She may heal.
