Taylory is a dedicated pharmacy technician at my hospital and a single mom to her wonderful son, Atticus. Atticus is a kindergartener with autism who is non-verbal, and Taylory works tirelessly to provide him with the care and support he needs.
On December 30th, 2025, Taylory’s life changed when a car struck her vehicle from behind while she was stopped at an intersection. She was taken to the hospital for scans and treatment, and while she was not responsible for the accident, the emotional pain of knowing the other driver lost his life has weighed heavily on her. She has been deeply affected by the tragedy, thinking about the family who lost their loved one, all while trying to care for Atticus and keep up with her responsibilities at work.
After the accident, Taylory learned that her car was totaled. The insurance company’s payout was not enough to cover her car loan, leaving her with a significant gap she must pay out of pocket. Taylory depends on her car to get to work and to take Atticus to his school and therapy appointments, so she used all her emergency savings to rent a car for several weeks until she could find a more permanent solution.
Unfortunately, things became even more difficult this morning when she hit an ice patch while driving to work and slid off the road in the rental car. Now, Taylory is facing overwhelming expenses from both accidents.
Funds raised will help Taylory secure reliable transportation so she can continue working and ensure Atticus gets to his therapy sessions. They will also help pay for medical bills, the remaining car loan and costs related to the rental car. Let’s rally together and support Taylory and Atticus during this difficult time. I know they will be extremely grateful for every contribution they receive as they work to find a path forward!
