Honoring Taryn Renae Short
On February 4, 2025, our beloved Taryn Renae Short, who was born on April 13, 2011, in Centralia, went home to be with Jesus at just 13 years old. In her short time here, she brought so much love, joy, and light to those around her.
On the evening of her passing, her dad kissed her goodnight, never imagining that just an hour later, she would no longer be with us. Emergency responders arrived swiftly and worked tirelessly to bring her back, and her family will be forever grateful for their efforts. The official cause of death was determined to be pulmonary edema and hemorrhagic pulmonary congestion. There were no signs that anything was wrong, as she lived a full beautiful life, loving her family, friends, and, most of all, Jesus.
A message from her family: " The outpouring of love and support from those we know and even those we don't has been incredible. We are deeply grateful for this community and our Bethel Church Family. Your prayers have been a great source of comfort and strength during this unimaginable time. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed." (Psalm 34:18). "
Supporting Taryn's Family
As Taryn's family navigates this heartbreaking loss, we hope to ease some of the financial burden that comes with the loss of a child. We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and additional costs to celebrate her memory. Any contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Taryn at Bethel Church (date to be determined).
Thank you for your love, support, and prayers for Taryn's family.
