Support for Tarah Cragin – A Lifelong Caregiver in Need

Hello,

My name is Jordann Balaich, and I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of one of my incredible employees and dear friends, Tarah Cragin. Tarah has spent her entire life caring for others—now it’s our turn to support her during this difficult time, as she is no longer able to work.

In March, Tarah discovered a large lump in her breast, which was confirmed to be cancer. Further testing revealed a spot on her sternum. In early April, she spent several days at the Mayo Clinic, where doctors sadly discovered the cancer had spread—to her bones and her brain.

The original plan was to begin outpatient radiation on the brain, followed by chemotherapy. Unfortunately, doctors later diagnosed her with leptomeningeal disease—an aggressive condition where the cancer spreads into the lining of the brain and spinal cord. This has drastically altered her treatment plan.

Tarah is currently undergoing an intensive round of radiation—10 consecutive weekdays (Monday through Friday for two weeks). After that, she will begin a new chemotherapy regimen specifically designed to target the cancer in her brain.

Please join us in lifting up Tarah, her husband Dan, their son Gabe, and their extended family in prayer. Pray for strength, comfort, and peace as they navigate this unimaginable journey. Most importantly, pray that the radiation does its job and gives Tarah the fighting chance she so courageously deserves.
