Support for Tanya Paquette: Help Her Fight Stage 4 Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Neighbours,

We are reaching out to ask for your support for our dear friend and longtime Vankleek Hill resident, Tanya Paquette. Tanya is facing an incredibly tough battle with Stage 4 non-small cell carcinoma, which has now spread to her bones. Despite her strength and determination, this journey has been filled with difficult days, weeks, and months.

Tanya has bravely completed radiation treatments, but the fight is far from over. There is no cure for her condition, and she will need to be on a special medication for the rest of her life to prevent new growth. Unfortunately, this medication comes at an enormous cost. Insurance will only cover a small portion, and the family must wait through a qualifying period before Trillium steps in, and even then, it will only cover a part of the expense.

Tanya's husband, Mario, is doing everything he can to support their lively 5-year-old son, Greyson, and their busy teenager, Addison, while also working full-time at Martel Monuments. It’s a lot for one family to handle, and that’s where we, as friends and neighbours, come in.

We are asking for your help to ease the financial burden on this wonderful family. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards Tanya's medical expenses, helping to ensure she receives the medication she needs and allowing her family to focus on what truly matters—spending time together and supporting each other through this challenging time.
