Hi everyone,

We are raising funds to support Tanya, who has just received a life-saving lung transplant and is now entering the second, most demanding part of her journey — recovery.

This transplant has given Tanya a second chance at life, but it also comes with a long and difficult road ahead. For the next six months, Tanya must remain in Toronto for intensive follow-up care, monitoring, and rehabilitation to ensure her new lungs continue to function properly.

Her daughter, Taya, is by her side as her main support person and caregiver during this time.

While the transplant itself was necessary, the hidden costs of recovery quickly add up:

• Temporary housing in Toronto

• Food and daily living expenses

• Transportation to and from the hospital

• Medications, supplies, and unexpected medical costs

• Lost income while caring for Tanya full-time

This fundraiser is to help ease the financial burden on Taya so she can focus on what matters most — being there for her mom during this critical time.
