Talene and her daughter Autumn were walking in the parking area of an apartment complex in Silverton, Oregon, when a vehicle struck them. Both were taken to the hospital with injuries. Autumn survived but required emergency medical care. But Talene, Autumn's mother, later died from the critical injuries she sustained in the crash.

Talene could be seen behind the scenes quietly supporting Autumn at all of her daughter's performances. She really was Autumn's biggest fan! Autumn is an incredibly talented singer and performer, and her musical education is something that should be continued and nurtured. Autumn was a member of One Voice Children's Choir for several years before the family moved from Utah to Oregon, and we choir moms are coming together to ask for your generous donations in behalf of the Spangler family.

The family's main income source came from Talene's job.
