Support for Taison whilst he’s in hospital.

Hi all, as many of you may of heard on NBN news or via various news articles on social media, a man in his early twenties, was set on fire and assaulted at King St in Newcastle during the early hours of Thursday morning, 28th of September. Unfortunately, the victim of that attack, was my best mate Taison Brockbank. Due to the severity of his burns, Taison was airlifted from the John Hunter hospital to The Royal Northshore Hospital, St Leonard’s in Sydney. Throughout this horrific ordeal, he received burns to 40% of his body and had to be placed into a induced coma for 4 days. Although, he is slowly recovering and handling it a lot better then most would, he remains in hospital and may be there for up to another month, or possibly longer, depending on how many more surgeries he requires & how quickly his body heals. Due to him being in hospital, he has lost his ability to work and it’s been a financial struggle for him to maintain his financial obligations, ie rent, ongoing bills etc. His sister has taken in his beautiful dog Talulah until he recovers, and his family have also been helping financially towards the costs of feeding & looking after her as well. For the above reasons, I have decided to start this Go Fund me in the hopes that we can raise enough money to assist with his rent/ bills and to help feed Talulah. I have set a target of $5000 and Taison and I have decided that if the amount raised exceeds that, he’d like to donate the remaining money rather to the hospital that has been assisting with his recovery or to a charity to help other people who are in the same position. Whether it’s a small or large donation, anything will help our cause and would be greatly appreciated! Thankyou!
