To those who know my daughter, Talisa Williams, and the love she has for her children, you understand the depths of the grief she is feeling right now. The last almost six years haven’t been easy for her, raising Taheem, who was born with several disabilities. He spent three months in the NICU at birth and has been hospitalized multiple times, but with strength and love, he always pulled through and came home—until January 18, 2026. On that day, he became our angel and went to a place where he feels no pain. This is a day none of us ever imagined would come so soon.

I am hoping that family, friends, and anyone who has been touched by my daughter’s story will share and help her get through this financially. She was already struggling, but works long hours at Tampa General to provide for her children as a single parent. Now, she faces the unimaginable task of laying our cuddle bug to rest and finding the time to grieve with her other children. Taheem left behind a family who will miss him dearly, but we will always remember his big smile and warm cuddles.
