I am fundraising for our dear friend Sara, who is suddenly and unexpectedly facing medical emergencies and uncertainty.

Sara is a hard-working, self-employed single mother to four beautiful children. She selflessly cares for everyone around her, and she needs our financial support. Sara will not be able to work right now, but she still has a mortgage and a family to care for!

Two weeks ago (May 2022) after being in on again-off again agonising pain, it was confirmed Sara had a 5cm tumour in her hepatic flexure of the colon. Cancer. Sara had 40cm of her colon surgically removed.

Sara was also told that her months-long pain symptoms were likely caused by severe endometriosis. She has a long road ahead of her with chemo and further surgeries for the endometriosis. Sara is back in the hospital with more excruciating pain and uncertainty.

Sara is generous and independent, and she is always the first person to offer care, love, support, and help to other people in every way possible. Right now it’s our turn to show our support to her!
