Support for Sweet Sadie
Donation protected
Our sweet Sadie was born on December 4th, 2016. After a pretty horrific delivery, Sadie was diagnosed with HIE (lack of oxygen to the brain.) After 72 hours of being on a cooling monitor to try and reduce swelling in her brain, Sadie’s life began. Fast forward through our months long NICU stay, and Sadie was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy just shy of her 1st birthday. Along with this news, we were also overwhelmed by the medical bills that were starting to pile up.
In the last few years, we have spent thousands of dollars on therapies and equipment to help Sadie reach inchstones. Two weeks from her 3rd birthday and Sadie is not yet standing, walking, or talking.
It is because of this that we are fundraising. So that we can continue to provide Sadie with the very best possible services. Sadie has been accepted into a therapy program in Boston that provides intensive therapies for children with CP and other neurological impairments. In the few weeks that we have been able to send Sadie, she has made amazing and undeniable progress, giving us all hope that Sadie may walk one day. We would love to be able to send Sadie back to Boston as many times as possible
so that she can receive the very best opportunities to be successful. Please help us send Sadie to Boston!
