Hi, my name is Meghan and I’m raising funds for my brother and sister-in-law, Justin and Caitlin Greene. Caitlin recently birthed a beautiful baby girl named Edith Autumn. Just three weeks after entering the world, Edith was diagnosed with viral encephalitis. This devastating condition has taken its toll on this sweet baby girl in her very first weeks of life. Edith has been receiving intensive care at Albany Med Hospital. After many stressful days of testing, trial and error, many of the most debilitating symptoms of her diagnosis, including seizures, are currently being managed successfully in the intensive care unit. However, the medical team has made it clear that the impacts of this infection on Edith’s brain may be long lasting and require special care. All Caitlin and Justin have ever asked for in their time of need is prayers, but friends and family have sought out ways to offer additional support in other ways, including financially, as they navigate this trying time. Funds donated to this family will support Edith’s care in the weeks and months after she is discharged from the hospital.
