Starting on September 26, Hurricane Helene unleashed biblical devastation throughout Western North Carolina. Many of the homes, businesses and roads in our beloved Swannanoa and Black Mountain have been wiped out by this massive and historic storm. At the time of writing, much of our community is literally under water and we won’t know the full extent of the damage until the waters finally recede. One thing we do know is that many people will need a lot of help in the coming days, weeks, and months.

I’ve had many friends and community members reach out asking how they can help. This fund will be used to help support those who are in need and to provide supplies and financial resources to those who are displaced. As we learn more about the aftermath and how these funds can be best utilized we will update the page to share where the the funds will be directed.
