Susette Harris was diagnosed with uterine serous carcinoma (USC), a rare and aggressive cancer, in May 2024. Despite being perfectly healthy before her diagnosis, the cancer spread rapidly. As of today, Susette is being transferred to Hospice of the Valley. Her cancer is terminal, has spread throughout her body.

Susette fought incredibly hard. She underwent a radical hysterectomy, followed by a resection and colostomy when the cancer metastasized. She endured kidney failure requiring stents and a nephrostomy, survived sepsis, and bravely attempted two rounds of chemotherapy and one round of radiation. Unfortunately, her body became too sick to continue treatment, and the cancer continued to spread to her liver, lungs, stomach, pancreas, and brain.

This all happened suddenly and has been devastating for Susette and her family.
