Our father, Harold T. Edmondson, was a man whose life was defined by resilience, technical mastery, and a love story that inspired everyone who knew him. Born in Harrisburg, Harold’s journey took a meaningful turn in 1976 when he met Susan, his lifelong partner and the person he lovingly called his 'Angel.' Together, they navigated the world with shared blindness, but even more so, a shared vision for their family. Raising two daughters independently, Harold and Susan proved that no obstacle was too great when faced with determination and love. In memory of our father, we are raising funds to support the continued care of Susan, and the residents of Manatawny Manor. These donations will help fund activities that keep residents creative and active, promoting both physical and psychological health. They may also help beautify the grounds, encouraging wildlife such as pollinators and songbirds—something my dad cherished deeply. Our entire lives, we have witnessed the power of support from family, friends, and neighbors. Our family is eternally grateful for the love you have shared and the ways you have been part of our care and comfort. Your donation will reflect the joy you have given to Harold and Susan throughout the years. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
