I’m sharing this with humility and gratitude. I have a medically necessary surgery scheduled for March 16 at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. This surgery offers hope for improved health and quality of life, but it also comes with significant expenses beyond what insurance covers.

I have a rectovaginal fistula, a serious medical condition where an abnormal opening has formed between my rectum and vagina. I also have Crohn’s disease, which makes healing more difficult and has contributed to ongoing complications. The fistula causes infections, pain, and major disruption to my daily life. After several major surgeries have failed, I was referred to the Mayo Clinic, where the medical team has developed a strong plan for a successful surgery. This condition does not heal on its own and requires complex medical treatment. Funds raised will help cover medical care, recovery, and related expenses so I can focus on healing.
