I, Maheswari Muthukrishnan, wife of Suresh Kumar Veluchamy (41), Mother of two kids Karthikeyan Sureshkumar (Age 6 Years) and Kayal Sureskumar (Age 2 years), sharing this devastating blow in our life.

My loving and dear husband took his last breath a couple of days ago after battling Throat Cancer. Ever since he was discovered with cancer, he fought very hard, underwent surgeries (more than 10 +), Radiation Therapy, Clinical Trials, Chemotherapy and whatever told by the doctors to come out of this and live with us. However, God had a different wish for us. Last three months he was completely hospitalized, with critical conditions. Pulmonary infection (pneumonia) added to further complications. After all these battles, finally, doctors informed us that my husband had no chance of survival and had to be moved to a Hospice. A week after he was moved to hospice, he passed away, leaving me and my two small kids.

In addition to the inexplicable pain, our family is under tremendous financial pressure. My husband, being the sole breadwinner, we do not have any other source of income for survival. Our entire savings has been spent on these medical conditions.

I am here with creating this GoFundMe request to raise funds to support funeral arrangements, future medical expenses, my two young kids' education, and survival for our monthly expenses. Although life will never be the same for us in my husband's absence, we hope that this GoFundMe will help reduce some of the financial distress that my children and I are facing and likely to face while trying to adjust to a life without the head of our household.
