On Tuesday, April 21st at 5:18 AM our Mom, Summer Robbins, was involved in a serious car accident at CR 800W and US 30 in Warsaw. Another driver pulled out in front of her, causing a crash that left her with severe, life threatening injuries. She was rushed to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne and immediately went into surgery to save her life as she was bleeding internally from the accident. After surgery, she was placed in the ICU and was intubated.

She is so lucky to be here today, and we are beyond grateful that she is still with us. As a mom to four kids and stepmom to two more, she is the one who keeps everything running and everyone taken care of. She is also the family’s primary provider, so her being unable to work in the foreseeable future brings a lot of financial uncertainty on top of an already incredibly hard time. Her husband Alan is currently undergoing chemotherapy for a brain cancer called Oligodendroglioma, something they have already been facing together with incredible strength. Her accident has now been added on top of that, and it is simply more than any family should have to handle at once.
