Sometimes life has a funny way of putting things in order. Some of you know that life took an unexpected and abrupt turn for our family within the last 2.5 years, but that's not the story here. Instead, this is about the kids falling deeply in love with dance around that same time. They had both participated for some time before that, but about the time that our world closed in, theirs exploded outward. Dec and Pip have poured their hearts and souls into the world of dance and it's now starting to love them back. Declan was recently given an amazing opportunity to spend 5 weeks at The Rock School for Dance in West Chester, Pennsylvania this summer studying ballet at one of the nation's top ballet schools. Piper (who will always have to work just that much harder for her dance dreams) has also been given an opportunity to study for 2 weeks at the Northwest Dance Intensive in Olympia, WA, an awesome place for her to experience her first summer intensive.

Both of these come with price tags that are, simply put, out of our reach. 3 years ago, it would probably have looked different. But again, life and its way of seldom making things make sense... and we are in a spot where we are committed to providing as many opportunities as we can for Dec and Pip. If you've had the privilege of watching them dance, you know how much they love what they do and their passion for their craft.
