Hi, my name is Kimberly, I’m reaching out during one of the most vulnerable times of our lives. My husband Ryan and I have been married for 9 years and have 5 wonderful children, (19 G,19 B,7 G,5 B,8 wk B) The last three years have dealt our family unimaginable hardship especially for my husband. Mid September we were devastated when I was unexpectedly laid off from my full time job one Friday morning at 32 weeks pregnant with no notice, during a time where it has been hard for my husband to find reliable full time work due to legal circumstances he is dealing with from a previous accident. Basically our stress levels running at max capacity just as we preparing to welcome our last baby into the world. If it could go wrong for us at this point, it certainly has. This sudden loss of income has left us facing mounting basic living expenses and pressing, time sensitive legal fees at a time when returning to work is not immediately possible for me with two other small children in the home to feed and care for as well as our newborn. We by the grace of God have managed to scrape by thus far but with Christmas and the holidays passing, the daily struggles and finances have gotten to an unmanageable level. Recently a family member suggested setting up a GoFundMe account to try to see if we could find a way to make what seems impossible, possible. Sunday after church, I caved. Matthew 18:20 says where two or more are gathered in prayer, there I will also be, that is my prayer, for God to make a way the only way He can.

I never imagined needing to ask for help, but right now I’m doing everything I can to protect my family and stay afloat during this trying time, while also preparing for an outpatient procedure that needs to be done end of January. I have applied for several jobs with no return calls. Any and all funds raised will go toward all household costs affected by my layoff, while I continue to recover and care for my newborn, legal fees to insure my husband gets access to fair, knowledgeable legal representation to keep him home with his family and keep the ability to be able to provide for his family. The deadline for those is around Jan 15th as they are time sensitive.
