Hello, my name is Ellen Stewart and I’m starting a GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden and provide support for Jennifer Newman and her family during this very difficult time in their lives. Here is her statement:

"Our family is going through one of the hardest seasons of our lives, and we are leaning on our faith now more than ever. In a very short and unexpected time, my mom, Sue, experienced complete kidney failure and is now receiving hospice care. The speed of this change has left us heartbroken and struggling to catch our breath.

Sue is a woman of faith, love, and strength. We are trusting God to carry her gently and surround her with peace, while we do everything possible to keep her comfortable during this time. While our hearts are focused on prayer and presence, the reality of medical and hospice expenses has become overwhelming. Many of the services she needs are not covered by insurance, leaving our family with significant out-of-pocket costs.

At the same time, my dad is facing serious health challenges of his own. He is trying to care for my mom while also navigating his own medical needs, and the emotional and financial strain has become more than our family can manage alone.

We are humbly asking for support so we can focus on what matters most — loving Sue, supporting my dad, and trusting God through each day — without the constant fear of how we will afford the care they need. Any funds raised will go directly toward hospice care, medical expenses, and basic needs during this incredibly difficult time.
