A 7th grade student in our community is facing an unimaginable loss. Over Thanksgiving break, this student lost their mother suddenly to a stroke. As an only child, they now find themselves with just their dad, navigating a world that has changed overnight. The grief and uncertainty they are experiencing is something no family should have to face alone, especially during the holiday season.
