On December 10, 2025, my son's father suffered a life-changing stroke that left him paralyzed on his right side and severely impaired his speech. He spent three weeks in the hospital, fighting to recover, and was recently transferred to a rehabilitation hospital. The doctors are hopeful he will be released within the next week, but his journey is far from over. As he prepares to return home, he faces enormous challenges—not only in his recovery, but also in managing the daily needs of life for himself and our son.

He will need ongoing support for rent, utilities, and medical bills, as well as reliable transportation to dialysis and doctor appointments since he can no longer drive himself. These expenses are overwhelming, and without help, it will be difficult for him to keep his apartment and provide for our son during this critical time. As his only family, our son and I are doing everything we can, but we cannot do it alone.
