Over the past few months, a small family of stray cats has found their way into my life—a mom, a dad, and two kittens. Little by little, they’re learning to trust me. One kitten, Ivy, has become brave enough to let me pet her, and is now inside!! I have set up an appointment to have her spayed. Now the work outside begins more on her sister, and dad, so I can get them spayed and neutered, and hopefully adopted out soon!
Mom kitty has been MIA the last few weeks as she likely has given birth to another litter. TBD on how many kittens until she feels safe to bring them out or they are big enough to follow her.
My goal is simple: get them spayed, neutered, healthy, and, if possible, into loving homes.
At the same time, life has been challenging. Unexpected moves, and it looking like I’m going to have to move again, car expenses, financial strain, and the loss of several of my own beloved cats have made the last few years incredibly hard. Still, I’ve kept going. I started a new full time role last summer and continue working toward stability. But right now, overtime is limited and things are tight.
So as scary as it is for me to do, I’m asking for help.
Every donation goes directly toward rent, car payments, and vet care and food for these cats and my own. Your support helps me stay on my feet and continue caring for animals who have no one else.
I’m doing everything I can to move forward. I just need a little help getting through this season.
If you’re able to donate, share, or send encouragement, it truly means the world. Thank you for caring. Thank you for reading. And thank you for helping give these cats a chance.
