On July 25, 2025, at 5:11 AM, weighing 5 lbs 11 oz, Stone McCoy Sylvester was born. He was lovingly welcomed by his mom, Mackenzie, and dad, Boone. Later that day, he met his two older sisters, Sailee and Bowie, who were overjoyed to finally have a baby brother. The family shared four beautiful days together, soaking in their new life as a family of five.
On July 28th, Stone began showing signs of complications. His parents didn’t rest until he was in the care he needed. He was taken to Lehi Primary Children’s and then airlifted with his dad to Salt Lake City Primary Children’s Hospital. Stone fought so hard, surrounded by a dedicated team of doctors and nurses working tirelessly to help him heal. After many tests, it was revealed that Stone was born with abnormalities in his brain, along with a brain bleed. Due to his size and the severity of the abnormalities and bleed, it was deemed inoperable. On the evening of July 29th, sweet Stone passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving mom and dad.
On their behalf, I humbly ask for your support during this unimaginable time. The family now faces hospital bills, life flight costs, and funeral expenses. Any contribution will help ease their burden and allow them to focus on healing together. Thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity.
