Steven, my husband, has always been the rock of our family. On December 1st, he went to the hospital with a swollen hand, and things quickly became much more serious. The doctors rushed him to a larger hospital about 45 minutes away, where he was put on a ventilator and breathing tube. He’s had to be shocked once, and every moment since has been filled with worry and fear. Steven is our main source of income, and with him in the hospital, we’ve fallen behind on bills and rent. I have a job lined up, but it doesn’t start until the middle of January, so right now, we’re struggling to keep up with everything. The stress of not knowing how we’ll make it through each day is overwhelming. This year has already been so hard—Steven lost his twin in March, and I’m terrified of losing him too. We’ve shared 25 wonderful years together, and at just 43 years old, I’m praying with everything I have that he pulls through. The funds raised will help us pay our rent, catch up on bills, and cover gas for hospital visits and daily needs. Any support, whether it’s sharing our story or making a donation, means the world to us. Thank you to whoever shares and especially those who donate. You are an angel on earth and thank you again!
