Support for Steve Travis after Loss from Devastating Tornado

Our names are Amber Hacker and Jalyn Feth and we are raising money to help our father after his home and everything he had was destroyed by the Lake Village tornado on March 10th, 2026.

Our dad was in his apartment when the tornado hit and although disabled, he was still able to get to a nearby closet and hunker down. In spite of the roof blowing off and the ceiling collapsing on top of him, our dad survived this traumatic event. We are so grateful for his life and for the incredible emergency crews who came to his aid.

Our dad is a veteran, and an active member of his local VFW and American Legion of Lowell, IN. He's a long-time Local 150 Union member and anyone who knows him knows he'd give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

The funds will be used to help our dad start the process of replacing every day items and to help him get back on his feet. We hope to salvage a few items from the tornado but most of what was there was destroyed. He is starting the long process of cleaning up as well as trying to manage living arrangements and working with insurance to figure out next steps. Any money contributed would be very much appreciated and we thank you for your time and generosity for our dad, Steve.
