Steve Baxter is our very dear and loved family, father, husband, PaPa, brother, uncle who recently suffered an unexpected and serious heart attack. He's a beloved father of 3 sons and PaPa to 2 grandsons Chase, 8 and Oliver, 3 and granddaughter Maya, 1.

The heart attack occurred in the coronary artery, often referred to as the widow maker, while Steve was at work. For years, he has been working 60+ hour weeks just to make ends meet, and now he finds himself in the ICU, fighting for his life. The suddenness of this event has left Steve and our family in shock, and the financial strain is already weighing heavily on him. He is deeply worried about how he will cover bills, medications, and the daily expenses that continue to add up, even while he is unable to work. Steve will need ongoing medical care, including medications and equipment, and support with meals and transportation. His vehicle is no longer safe to drive, but he cannot afford to replace it. At over 70 years old, Steve has spent his life working hard, always putting others first—helping family, friends, and even strangers whenever he could. Now, he needs help more than ever. I want Steve to be able to focus on healing and following his doctor's orders, without the constant worry of how to pay for basic needs.
