Support for Stetson's Final Journey

Stetson Tyson Carter

Camden and Kaydence have decided to make the journey to Bristol, Texas with baby Stetson, so that he is always surrounded by family in the place we call home. To help them with the expenses of travel to denver, then to Texas, and for the expenses of Stetsons service and burial, we are launching this page for any family and friends who wish to help cover the costs. Thank you for all of the prayers and for reaching out to us. If you haven’t heard back, just know that we do see the messages and appreciate them.

On September 30, 2025 at 3:28 am, weighing 8 pounds and measuring 20 inches long, we witnessed Gods miracle and promise. From his first breath, Stetson showed us his strength and immediately unified us as a family in a way I could have never imagined. It was unspoken, but understood, that we were his protectors. His mom, Kaydence Bratcher and his dad, my first baby, Camden Finch would lead the way… with Raelynn Carter and myself fighting over who could hold him; feed him; even change him next. We finally got to bring him home on Thursday, and it seemed our new life was beginning to take form, all around this perfect little human. Beautiful, innocent, strong and inspiring, Stetson was ours, finally home and in our arms.

Stetson stayed with us for three short days. On Friday morning, October 3, at around 5 am, Stetson left us to be with our Lord. We don’t know why, and it’s been the hardest, most trying times we can imagine. We do not wish to answer any questions about the hours surrounding his death, so please do not ask “what happened”, “is there a cause of death” etc.. There is nothing to say, but that there was a cardiac event, and he simply did not make it. It was and continues to be extremely traumatic, so we ask for privacy surrounding that morning:

While this is true, we do find peace and moments of hope when talking of his journey here, and the short amount of time that he blessed our lives. His beautiful blonde hair, his sea blue eyes, every whimper and coo… they’re etched in our souls forever. And we, his protectors, are bound forever by the love he showed us was possible.

Please pray for our family: for Camden and Kaydence.

We will watch for you in every sunset, Stetson, and we know that every family member before you welcomed you in to Gods kingdom.
