Support for Stephen Oakes' Family

On May 22nd, we tragically said goodbye to Stephen Oakes. A loyal husband, loving father, and dedicated public servant.

Stephen was a fixture in the Louisville Community. As a FBI Special Agent, his cybersecurity expertise and legal abilities elevated the entire Louisville Division. He took on the hardest cases and gave the best advice. Stephen's quick wit knew no limits. He could cut through the most serious of meetings and leave everyone smiling and feeling better about the day. Sometimes this wit was so advanced it took us until he left the room to process the joke. We ALL had that moment with him. Stephen's personal and professional connections spanned the world. Everyone knew him for what he was: A great Agent and a better human.

Stephen's commitments extended beyond the office. He was the Cubmaster for Pack 28, Seneca District, and before that, was a Den Leader. Stephen, himself, was an Eagle Scout.

Through this page, we want to support Rosa, their two beautiful boys, and Stephen and Rosa's mothers in their time of need.

Stephen, your intelligence, humor, and compassion will be forever missed in the halls of FBI Louisville and in the community you served. We love you and will honor your legacy every day going forward.
