Now, Stephanie is facing one of the toughest challenges of her own life: a diagnosis of stage 3 rectal cancer. This news has been devastating for Stephanie, her husband Matt, and their two children, Max and Eleanor. As she begins her fight against cancer, Stephanie is preparing for a long road of treatments, appointments, and recovery. The emotional and financial toll of this diagnosis is significant, and it’s a journey no one should have to face alone. Stephanie’s treatment plan will begin with six weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, followed by an additional three to four months of chemotherapy. After this, she will undergo a rescan and restaging to determine the next steps. There is a possibility that surgery will be required, which could result in a permanent ostomy. This process is physically and emotionally demanding, and Stephanie will need all the support she can get. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping Stephanie and her family manage the many expenses that come with a cancer diagnosis. This includes travel costs for treatments, covering essential expenses while Stephanie is unable to work, and paying for medical bills that insurance does not fully cover.
