On March 8, Randolph resident Jimmy Diaz, age 52, passed away suddenly from a heart attack, leaving behind his wife, Stephanie, and their son, Jio. Jimmy was a devoted husband and father who was always there for his family—cheering Jio on at school functions and after-school activities, and being a constant source of love, support, and kindness within the community.

Jio, a Randolph Middle School student who has special needs, relied deeply on Jimmy’s unwavering love and encouragement. Jimmy was not only his father, but also his biggest supporter, advocate, and constant companion. The two were always together, and Jimmy was truly the rock of their family. Now, Stephanie and Jio are facing not only the heartbreak of losing him, but also the immediate financial challenges that come with such an unexpected loss.
