On Christmas Eve, our National Kidney Foundation of Arizona amazing team member, Stephanie Santiago, and her family were hit with hardship as a house fire burned their home, resulting in the total loss of everything in their primary bedroom. While we are so grateful that Stephanie, her fiancée Estephanie, and children Mike "MJ" (17 yo), and Owen (4 yo) are safe -- and that the fire was contained and away from the kids' rooms -- they are now facing the overwhelming reality of having to replace all of the clothing they owned, shoes, personal necessities, and their bed, dresser, and accompanying bedroom furniture. At this time, they are displaced and staying with family while the power in their home is worked on, with hopes to return home soon.

We at the foundation are starting this GoFundMe to help give them breathing room, a hand up, and support as they navigate their next steps to replace all they have lost.

Stephanie is the first person to raise her hand and help others in any way she can, and where she can't help, spends every possible effort to find help for those who need it most in our community.
