I don’t ever ask for money, and my family very seldom asks for help, but right now my sister Stephanie needs all the help she can get. Her beloved 19-year-old son, Shane, lost his life in the worst tragedy I can ever imagine, just five days before Christmas. The pain and shock of losing Shane so suddenly has left our family heartbroken, and now Stephanie is faced with the overwhelming task of arranging his funeral and handling unexpected expenses during what should have been a joyful season.

Stephanie is a loving mother who has always put her family first, and Shane was deeply loved by everyone who knew him. The loss of someone so young and full of life is something no parent should ever have to endure. As we try to support Stephanie through her grief, we are also trying to help her manage the financial burden that comes with saying goodbye to her son.
