My name is Staci, and I am reaching out for support after the sudden loss of my fiancé, Travis Byrdsong, who passed away on December 2, 2025. Travis was the heart of our family and the loving father of our five children, ages 18, 17, 16, 12, and 7. Just a week before his passing, we had moved into our new home, excited to start a new chapter together. Now, I am facing the unimaginable—navigating life and caring for our children without him.

Travis was our sole provider and made sure our family had everything we needed. With the holidays approaching, our daughter’s birthday coming up, and our children’s sports and school activities, I am overwhelmed by the financial responsibilities that Travis always handled. Our kids need winter clothes, basketball shoes, and support for their activities. We also need help furnishing our new home and covering bills, including driving school for our three oldest children. Travis was always there to fix our cars, provide for us, and make sure we were taken care of. Without him, I am doing my best to keep our family together and strong, but I can’t do it alone.

To all of Travis’s friends, family, and his semipro and flag football family—thank you for the love and support you have shown us. Travis was a stand-up person, a father, a friend, a cousin, a brother, a son, and a nephew. He loved and helped everyone, always willing to listen and lend a hand.
