Support for Stacey’s treatment

My name is Rachel and my sisters Lindsey, Chloe and I are starting this fund for our mother Stacey. As many of you know our mom was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive form of lung cancer called non small cell carcinoma which has spread now to her bones (including ribs, hips, right femur) and her liver. Because of this it is now classified as stage 4.

The standard protocol for treating this particular type of cancer is to utilize chemotherapy following radiation treatments. Unfortunately however, research shows a very low survival rate using this treatment and protocol.

Our mom underwent 10 radiation treatments, after which my dad, who was researching functional medicine, determined that conventional chemo would do more harm than good and possibly shorten mom's lifespan given her weakened condition. Another option that was looked into was immunotherapy, but unfortunately, her type of cancer did not possess the correct genome for that therapy to be utilized.

Those of you who know our mom know that she’s a fighter and she’s not ready to give up so our family got to work looking into alternative treatments and therapies as other options for treatment had to be considered to give her a fighting chance.

Our family found a treatment called insulin potentiated therapy or IPT, and it is a much better option for treating her cancer with a much higher success rate and a dramatically lower downside as far as the toll it takes on the body. IPT in conjunction with a few other holistic therapies including high hp therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy offer a treatment plan with a much greater chance of survival and success.

This treatment is not covered by insurance unfortunately and is very expensive. Our goal for this fund is that these financial gifts can be used to offset the cost of these treatments and hopefully give our mom the ability to be healed and made healthy again.

We appreciate your prayers more than anything and as so many of you have messaged us asking how you can help or if there’s anything you can do, this would be an avenue for that. If you feel compelled to give we can’t express our gratitude enough and anything helps. We love our mother more than anything and with this help she can continue her fight.
