Stacey Sullivan has been one of my best friends since the day we met. We instantly had a connection and she has meant more to me than she will ever know. If you know one thing about her it's that she values family and her children more than life itself. She has faced and overcome some really trying obstacles in life that most would never have been able to. I have been so proud of her!
But life has thrown another curve ball and this time the power of prayer is so important. She recently found out that she has 2 rare forms of cancer. A large mass was removed, but the doctors wanted her to start chemo. The problem with this is that she only has one kidney that functions at 50%. She was praying that a miracle would happen and that she could avoid the chemo, but she recently found out that her cancer is aggressive and has now spread to her liver among other areas. She is at Stage 3. She is now going to begin chemo asap.
I am here to ask your help. Whether it's a dollar, more or even sharing this fundraiser. She has kept it together for so long. She has 5 children. 3 of which still are young and living with her. She is going to have to make trips to Buffalo and back, all while still paying her bills, taking care of her kids and if you know Stacey.....she will do this all while trying to act like she is A-OK as long as her kids are taken care of. A little help will at the least help her to put gas in her car, help to take the nagging ease off of needing to heat her house for the winter, face the holidays with her children and anything else that you know stresses you in life. Please, please help me help my friend. The whole family is terrified and I know that pulling together can make a huge difference. In any way you can, it is appreciated more than you know.
