On Monday, February 3rd, whilst celebrating my friend’s birthday, I was nearly fatally stabbed by a total stranger in a Bushwick bar. The blade completely punctured my liver and missed my main arteries by centimeters. I am extremely lucky to be alive, but this attack, completely unprovoked, has left a physical, emotional, and financial burden on me that is very overwhelming.
