Want to join us in making a difference?
The Columbia-Harlem Homeless Medical Partnership (CHHMP) Clinic Team is fundraising to benefit St. Mary's Episcopal Church (St. Mary's Harlem, St. Mary's Manhattanville), our community partner in Harlem.
Who are we?
The Columbia-Harlem Homeless Medical Partnership (CHHMP) is a medical student-run clinic providing free and quality health services in West Harlem. We operate from the basement of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at 126th Street and Old Broadway. Our weekly Tuesday clinic serves anyone and everyone regardless of insurance status or documentation status and has acted as the primary care provider for many homeless, low-income, and undocumented community members for over a decade.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, we are temporarily closed but continue to support our community partner, St. Mary’s, and our patients.
100% of donations will go to St. Mary’s and will be used to purchase non-perishable goods and supplies to support their outreach initiatives in the Harlem community, including:
Food Pantry - serves up to 100 family units who are under-employed, unemployed, or unable to work every Monday from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m
Saturday Outreach Soup Kitchen - serves 80 to 90 homeless individuals each Saturday afternoon. Teams of volunteers prepare bag lunches and deliver them to individuals on the streets and in parks in Harlem.
Movie Night Take Out Meals - held every Friday evening.
RDJ Refugee Shelter - serves seven asylum seeker guests by providing housing for at least six months with stable housing and supportive services
Together we can help St. Mary’s sustain their ability to provide food and supportive services to vulnerable members of the Harlem community.
Thank you so much for your contribution!
