Support for St. Mary Mercy Hospital

Thank you for visiting our page! My friends and I want to help out with the COVID-19 pandemic in any way possible. We are a group of students who are members of the VT Seva Detroit Youth Board. VT Seva is a nonprofit volunteering organization. We chose to support the St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, MI during this pandemic. The virus has changed our lives in ways that were unimaginable just a few months ago. As the highly contagious virus spreads and infects more people, hospitals become unable to keep up with the demand. Hospitals need funds for supplies to continue to effectively treat all the patients that fill their rooms. This virus is heavily affecting all of our medical personnel on the front lines, and it’s up to us to support them.


Michigan has the third most confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the US, and Wayne County has the most cases in Michigan. Aside from the City Of Detroit, Livonia, a city in Wayne County, has been hit the hardest with over 300 cases in the first three weeks itself. One of our biggest hospitals here, St. Mary Mercy, is in need of help, and it is our job to help the medical professionals stay safe and save lives.
