Support for Sra. Rivas and Family - WDES

Sra. Rivas is a 2nd grade DLI teacher at Weddington Elementary School. Sra. Rivas, her husband, Raul, and their two sons arrived to the United States in August 2019 from El Salvador. Shortly after they arrived, Raul started to not feel well and went to the doctor. After several exams and tests, Raul was diagnosed with colon cancer.  He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and will also need radiation and surgery to remove the tumor.

The goal is to raise $12,500 to cover his medical expenses. We want to help this wonderful family who are part of our community. Each and every contribution is appreciated.
